on the beach, expect constant stalking and harassment on a whole new level (and i've been to 70 countries including 7 other countries in Africa) people will rudely interrupt your conversations or meddle even when you tend to children in case to offer their (sometimes illegal) goods or services, and become angry if ignored, or just keep standing/walking next to you, sometimes in groups, sometimes to the hotel door or whatever other destination, trying to imitate your language all the while if you talk back to them and allow them to tag along, they will demand money for their time/effort afterwards so definitely not recommended for families with kids, and generally you have to be tough to be able to enjoy the (very dirty) beach despite all this

Nungwi is probaly the nicest beach in Zanzibar. Its not overcrowded and yet has enough restaurants and bars. Alway take care when walking along the beach, when you try to return you might not be able to due to high and low tide. The beach and the resorts are beautiful. People are amazing! This situation with the Masai though its literally unbearable. They don't know when to stop bothering you. I am there to enjoy the sun and the beach not to be harassed by them, after I kindly explained that I don't wish to talk, have a good day, they literally follow me and don't leave me alone. Nungwi used to be a small fishersmen's town, but it is now buzzing with bars, hotels and restaurants and lots of activities to do. If you want to go on a snorkeling trip, or have other fun activities. Then this is your spot. I appreciated the beautiful ful of the ocean - with the clear blue waters and the fishermen working.

What i liked most is the Staff who were very caring especially when my daughter fell ill there did their best to help her. Food and ambience were just great not forgetting about the friendly owners, I would definately recommend a friend of even family members at your property, I have nothing to complain of.

The staff are amazing, Halima and Helda made my stay so much easier, they helped me with everything, changing money, pharmacy, getting around, all kinds of tips and tricks and also with organising trips with the best price I had in Zanzibar. I travelled to the south and east coast of the island but Nungwi beach is the most beautiful beach. The sunset is the best here. The Zenobia team was the kindest and friendliest staff I have seen so far. The place is very hygienic and safe to eat and drink. The location is amazing, and the services are good quality. They have generators for electricity cutouts, and the internet was good enough.
